CT Abdominal of Ascites between the leaves of the greater omen turn.
Ascites between the leaves of the greater
omen turn.
In a patient with metastatic adenocarcinoma, ascitic fluid has dissected into the inferior recess of the lesser sac (ILS) between the unfused anterior and posterior leaves of the omentum. These are each evident by virtue of their fatladen nature. Marked ascites is also present in the greater peritoneal cavity.
