Prologue
Deep down intuitively he always knew what he should do next. Brief moments of solitude always told him what is the right thing. But, he was afraid to trust his gut feelings. He argued with his own self, sought popular opinion on what he should do. He rationalized the pros and cons of his decisions. He drowned his intuition with arguments and opinions.
Today
He was an old man now. He had lived his life conforming to what he was supposed to do. You could not find a technical flaw in his judgements. He had been successful to say the least.

Somewhere deep down he knew he had compromised dreams for rationality. That was his final thought. The Last regret.

We all somehow know what we want to do but we still keep continue to do to the contrary and believe that one day we will do what we dream of if we compromise today.
